Brought to you in collaboration by Friendly Forces and The Fratty Guard

Woah. We’re back. God it’s been too long. There’s a lot happening—with Friendly Forces, The Fratty Guard, our military, and our country.

We will be returning to a weekly cadence with the newsletter. There’s so much we can do with it, aside from relevant news and advice, like sharing hot job openings and other useful intel. It’s definitely a tough job market, and a shitty time to be looking given current economic conditions, but there are people hiring, and we’re going to connect them to you, especially the ones that are good for the PART⚡TIME bois.

This newsletter, despite being dormant for a bit due to competing priorities (learn to optimize business buzzwords and phrases), is now up to about 3,500 subscribers. "VERRRRY niiiice!" (Borat voice).

Please share with fellow hitters if you like it or think they would.

Thanks for sticking with us and PART⚡TIMING.

Friendly Forces Updates

If you haven’t been to the site lately, it got a nice facelift and a rebrand a few months back. There’s still a lot of awesome functionality we want to add in, but it will take time.

The Friendly Forces team is currently working with about a dozen employers to help shape more favorable military leave policies for Reservists at their companies. This is awesome—it’s why we started the organization. When Reservists are taken care of, everybody wins.

Most companies find us because an employee directs them to our our website. If your company isn’t doing so hot with supporting Reservists, or if they’re doing great and should be added to our list, CONNECT US and we’ll start the conversation.

Friendly Forces Founder and Executive Director, Eric Evans, recently did a Fireside Chat with Visa (5 STAR Reservist Friendly Employer) at their DC office to talk about the criticality of employer support to Reservists in the workforce.

Recent Additions to our Friendly Employers List:

  • Paypal

  • Box

  • Webster Bank

  • RAND Corporation

  • Goldman Sachs

To foot stamp the point, when companies find out about Friendly Forces, they are often eager to talk. So help us talk to them. Our contact email is [email protected].

This is my safety, Sir.

The Fratty Guard Enterprises Worldwide, LLP

The Fratty Guard continues to be possibly the most paradigm-shifting cultural phenomenon of our lifetime. We’re seeing explosive follower growth on the Instagram page (41,000 as of today) and The Fratty Guard Founder/CEO Captain Steele Chadwick is getting a lot of looks as a recognized thought leader on LinkedIn.

You can follow Captain Chadwick for updates on his venture capital firm, his quest to fight as many of his interns as possible, and his recent appointment as a Senior Tariffs Advisor at the White House on LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/company/thefrattyguard

Store Updates

Our quaint little store got a recent facelift of its own. We are working with a new vendor and have some hot new merch, as well as the classic best sellers like our flags and slaps.

We live for this shit—part time.

Our new Reserve SOF Civil Affairs / PsyOps logo is turning heads and has recently been spotted on the catwalks of Milan and Paris, as well as living rent-free in the heads of Active Duty CA and PsyOp bois.

To cop some merch and support the culture, visit The Fratty Guard store.

PARTTIME HITTER PODCAST

PTH is still going strong. Due to recent family events and work schedules, we are behind on recording and scheduling, but have a ton of great guests lined up.

On our most recent episode, we spoke to Katie H. of ClearanceJobs about the cleared jobs sector, resume best practices, and how to not piss off (or piss off) recruiters when reaching out to them.

If you or someone you know would like to be a guest, reach out to [email protected].
